Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, taking notes, and providing chairside support.
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort by preparing them for procedures, explaining treatment steps, and answering questions.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment availability.
- Support in administrative tasks, including scheduling, patient intake, and maintaining office supplies.
- Participate in training programs to become a certified dental assistant.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure the highest standards of care.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience necessary—this is a training role, and we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to handle patient care in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology or procedures is a plus but not required.
- Must complete the required test within the first three months of employment.(Jurisprudence, Radiography, Infection Control)
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days.
- Pay: $16–$20 per hour, based on experience.
- PTO: Paid time off after 6 months of employment.
