Governor Reynolds and the Iowa Dental Board have cleared us to re-open for patient care. Our normal hours have resumed on Wednesday, May 13th. We’re excited to have returned to work and resume serving you!
In consideration of COVID-19, we wanted to implement additional office protocol. These are extra precautions that will help keep everyone safe:
All patients will be screened prior to their appointment. This will include a short list of questions as well as an infrared temperature reading. If you or a family member has a fever of 100 or greater, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
All Hometown Dental team members will also be screened prior to their workday.
All patients while in the waiting room will be asked to wear a mask. If you have your own mask, feel free to wear it, otherwise we will provide one.
All Hometown Dental team members will be wearing a mask in all public areas and treatment rooms. We would love to show you our smiling faces, but right now we need to focus on your safety!
Specialized air purifiers have been positioned throughout the office. These are specialized HEPA units meant to reduce or eliminate air borne contaminants. They have been placed in each treatment room as well as the waiting room.
All patients prior to their appointment will be asked to rinse with anti-microbial mouth rinse. This is to help minimize any potential viral shedding.
We appreciate your trust in us. We will do everything in our power to keep you and your loved ones safe!
